With over 25 years of professional experience in design communications, business management and operations, I have successfully built and managed a thriving freelance design business in Sacramento. My journey has honed my skills in networking, strategic planning, and financial oversight. Serving on corporate boards and numerous non-profit projects, I have always ensured they are completed efficiently and effectively.
I am deeply committed to our community and understand the importance of transparency and accountability. I serve as the Chair of my son’s school educational foundation, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization that fundraises in support of two local public charter schools.
The current Fair Oaks Water District Board has lost touch with our community, approving a 25% rate increase without proper justification. I will advocate for the establishment of a Citizens Oversight Committee to monitor expenditures and implement participatory budgeting practices. This ensures that every decision reflects the needs and interests of our neighbors and ratepayers, not insiders.
